Angie Light was born Angela Renée Light, which means “Angel Reborn in Light.” Ms. Light’s acting debut began when she was 5 years old at summer camp in Peoria, IL, where she starred in “Little Bunny Foo Foo” as the Fairy Godmother. After opening night, Angie told her mother “I wanna be an actress!”

After winning her first acting award for her role as Florence in the female version of “The Odd Couple” in Greensboro, NC, Ms. Light was unstoppable! She has since performed in over 30 productions. One of her most acclaimed was in the Denver, CO production of “Bash” where she delivered a 40-minute monologue about a woman who electrocutes her son as revenge on the boy’s father. She also toured with Theatre IV from New York to Miami for 5 months as Aunt Polly in “Huck and Tom & The Mighty Mississippi.”

Ms. Light also starred as the Host of a show like “Double Dare” for Nickelodeon at Paramount's Kings Dominion in Richmond, VA.

Since her move to Los Angeles, Angie has booked 17 films, 6 Commercials, 3 Industrials and Voiceover work with Animax Entertainment. Angie has worked with the famous Cinematographer Dean Cundey, Paul Butcher from Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" and Kiernan Shipka from AMC's "Mad Men." She also filmed a Pilot with Whoopie Goldberg's daughter and granddaughter, Anthony Ray Parker from "The Matrix," and William August from "My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss."

On her free time, Angie enjoys snowboarding, hiking, reading, laughing, kickboxing, and spending time with her loving husband Andrew and her gorgeous English Cocker Spaniel puppy, Nila.
